Growing up in a pre-gentrified Hackney, Tunde defied the odds as the first person from his community to attend university, where he pursued his passion for law at London Metropolitan University. Despite the challenges, he persevered, juggling multiple jobs while studying, until a scholarship from the charity From Boyhood to Manhood paved the way for him to attend Bar School.

In 2010, Tunde founded Urban Lawyers, a charity dedicated to making the law more accessible to marginalized groups in society. Through Urban Lawyers, he empowers young people by providing them with opportunities to engage with legal professionals and gain insights into the legal world.

His commitment to diversity and inclusion led to his appointment as a Bar Council Race Training Panel Member, where he delivers courses on starting conversations about race in chambers.
