Born in the vibrant town of Akyem Swedru, Ghana, Emelia has carved out a stellar career that shines brightly across continents. Emelia's journey began in the heart of Ghana, where she completed her schooling at Akyem Swedru Secondary School before diving into the world of education at Presbyterian Teacher’s Training College. After earning her Teacher's Certificate 'A', she embarked on a teaching stint in Obuasi, nurturing young minds in Agricultural Science. But Emelia’s talents didn’t stop there—she’s also a proud holder of a diploma in Journalism, a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, and an ICM certificate in Broadcast Journalism. Talk about a multi-faceted star! Emelia's transition from the classroom to the screen was nothing short of magical. Her acting career took flight with remarkable roles in films like Asantewaa and Adofoasa, where her performances left audiences spellbound. From the poignant Kae to the intense Seed of Rejection, Emelia’s acting chops have been celebrated with accolades that affirm her status as a powerhouse in the film industry.



In 2019, Emelia ventured into music with her debut single “Fa Me Ko.” Though her vocals faced some critique, she didn't let it deter her. She made a triumphant return in January 2020 with “Odo Electric,” proving that her musical journey was just getting started. Her tenacity and spirit shine through, making her music an exciting part of her creative repertoire.


But Emelia’s talents extend beyond the spotlight. She’s a passionate humanitarian, spearheading the Emelia Brobbey Charity Organization, which brings light and hope to countless lives. Emelia’s contributions haven’t gone unnoticed. She bagged the Best Indigenous Actress of the Year and was a nominee for Best Supporting Actress at the 2016 City People Entertainment Awards. Her star continued to rise with a Best Gallywood Actress win and Best Philanthropist accolade at the 3G Awards in New York in 2018. In 2019, she clinched the Best Actor Female Indigenous award at the ZAFAA Global Awards, a testament to her remarkable talent.
