My name is Mina Evans-Anfom and I'm an Interior Designer and Artist based in Accra, Ghana. I have been in the Interior Design Industry for a year now, and an artist for about 4 years. I have a background in Fashion and ran a successful fashion brand here in Accra for a decade. Interiors had however, always been an interest of mine, and I took the plunge last year.
What were the biggest initial hurdles and how did you overcome them?
The biggest problem was myself and my belief in myself, really. There was a lot of hesitation to finally announce I was leaving fashion for interiors, but I had a pep talk from a few people and also one with myself and just announced it!

What books are you currently reading?
Not much time for reading lately, unfortunately, because I am knee-deep in a couple of courses, but I cannot wait to settle down with a good book once I'm done!
What do you know today that you wish you would have known when you first got started?
I keep saying processes are key and I don't think I'm ever going to stop saying it! LOL! Make a documented process for everything in your business. It's the only way to not only free up your time, but makes onboarding new hires a breeze!
What advice would you give to an upcoming youth or talents locally and internationally?
Don't sit on that idea because you are scared it will fail. JUST START!
